The Wilde Ganzen Foundation is a Dutch NGO, founded in 1957 with a mission to reduce poverty and inequality through community-led initiatives. They support community-based organizations in the Global South and their Dutch fundraising partners in joint efforts to achieve a better future.

The Wilde Ganzen Foundation uses more than 65 years of operational experience in international development to promote responsible philanthropy. We support social changemakers that are taking on initiatives to fight inequality. We do this through grantmaking, in-depth technical assistance, education, expertise and our on-the-ground networks.

CAKE

CAKE combines excitement and responsibility in its development of light, quiet, and clean high-performance electric motorcycles and mopeds. Its first model, the lightweight off-roader Kalk, was released in January 2018 and received widespread praise. CAKE’s award-winning streak was extended in 2019 with the launch of the Ösa, a utility platform with an integrated power station and off-road capabilities.

The company’s goal is to inspire people to live in a zero-emission society. It was founded in 2016 by the acknowledged entrepreneur in strategy, design, and branding, Stefan Ytterborn.

Partner Guidelines

  • Honour and respect the right of our Indigenous partners to withhold their consent for any funding partnership they deem to be detrimental to their interests.
  • Honour and respect Indigenous partners’ right to participate in a thorough consultation process on any project or development that might impact them.
  • Conduct consultations through the Indigenous peoples’ own institutions and representatives.
  • Invest in building the capacity of Indigenous partners.
