The Sinchi Foundation powers the Treesistance. Sinchi is a charity based in the Netherlands, that holds both ANBI status and is CBF accredited.

Treesistance officially came into existence on June 22nd 2023 – World Rainforest Day.

It is a the result of Forest Forces merging and becoming part of the Sinchi Foundation.

Many organisations simply focus on monitoring or if they take action on replanting or other regenerative practices. We take another approach and that is protection through prevention. 90% of deforestation in the Amazon is illegal and our mandate is stop this ongoing destruction. As we cannot afford to lose the primary rainforest where the majority of biodiversity thrives and carbon is stored.
