CITA

CITA, created in May 2000, aims to promote the social, political, economic, and cultural well-being of the 14 indigenous peoples of the Lower Tapajós Region: Arapium, Apiaká, Arara Vermelha, Borari, Jaraqui, Kumaruara, Maytapu, Munduruku, Munduruku Cara Preta, Tapajó, Tapuia, Tupayú, Sateré Mawé and Tupinambá. The organization works directly in the defense of our territories, promoting political actions and self-demarcations. We also fight for access to specific education and health policies.

Wilde Ganzen

The Wilde Ganzen Foundation is a Dutch NGO, founded in 1957 with a mission to reduce poverty and inequality through community-led initiatives. They support community-based organizations in the Global South and their Dutch fundraising partners in joint efforts to achieve a better future.

The Wilde Ganzen Foundation uses more than 65 years of operational experience in international development to promote responsible philanthropy. We support social changemakers that are taking on initiatives to fight inequality. We do this through grantmaking, in-depth technical assistance, education, expertise and our on-the-ground networks.

IR Global is a multi-disciplinary professional services network represented in 165+ jurisdictions that provides legal, accountancy, financial advice to companies and individuals around the world. Since 2010 the network has grown to over 1400 members worldwide.

Greenchoice

Greenchoice’s mission is for a Netherlands that runs entirely on green energy and where everyone can benefit from this energy transition. They believe every step, no matter how small or big, means progress. They partner with Treesistance in providing green energy solutions in the Amazon and supporting forest defenders, so they can protect primary rainforest from illegal deforestation. 

MAPARAJUBA LEGAL COLLECTIVE

Maparajuba is a human rights organization focused on providing popular legal assistance to traditional peoples and communities in the Tapajós region, in western Pará. The thematic axes addressed by Maparajuba revolve around the Protection of Human Rights Defenders; Socio-environmental Conflicts and Climate Justice; and Strengthening Popular Legal Advice in Tapajós. The activities carried out by the organization can be popular advocacy, strategic litigation, popular education, advocacy or research. Among the projects being carried out, the campaign “Sawe! The cry of the forest” stands out, developed in partnership with the Planalto Indigenous Council, with the aim of holding perpetrators of environmental crimes accountable in the midst of the demarcation process of the Munduruku and Apiaká do Planalto, in Santarém/PA.

Jacobs Futura Foundation

The Jacobs Futura Foundation is a dynamic philanthropic organisation dedicated to creating lasting, positive change in our chosen areas of focus.Established in London in 2024, the Foundation has a global outlook and prioritises preserving the world’s tropical rainforests. They believe in the power of strategic, long-term thinking, they aim for deep and mutual partnerships, and seek to foster lasting solutions that empower individuals and communities to thrive.

FRED FOUNDATION

Fred Foundation was founded in 1996 by Fred Matser. It’s mission is to support social initiatives that promote harmony with ourselves, each other, and nature.They support practical, innovative, and/or scalable initiatives, leveraging their experience and expertise to maximize impact. 

 

Impact bank

Impact Bank is a fintech founded in 2020, focused on facilitating the financing of socio-environmental projects, by structuring investments into commercially viable, scalable portfolios, to promote sustainable development throughout Brazil. The company facilitates payment transactions, acts as a correspondent bank, and acts in the aggregation and securitization of projects into bankable assets. Impact Bank also provides an impact management platform to help investors monitor repayment rates and impact indicators. Impact Bank offers additional financial solutions such as digital and escrow accounts and foreign exchange solutions

 

UFOPA

UFOPA stands for the Federal University of Western Pará, a public university located in Santarém, Pará, Brazil. Established in 2009, it was the first federal university created in the Amazon region and operates with a flexible, interdisciplinary academic model. The university has several campuses, including those in Santarém, Itaituba, and others, and was founded on a previous educational center from 1970

  • Honour and respect the right of our Indigenous partners to withhold their consent for any funding partnership they deem to be detrimental to their interests.
  • Honour and respect Indigenous partners’ right to participate in a thorough consultation process on any project or development that might impact them.
  • Conduct consultations through the Indigenous peoples’ own institutions and representatives.
  • Invest in building the capacity of Indigenous partners.
