Essas comunidades, localizadas \u00e0s margens do rio Tapaj\u00f3s, em Aveiro, munic\u00edpio com 17.158 km\u00b2 e cerca de 15.000 habitantes, se reuniram para fortalecer a defesa contra amea\u00e7as externas \u00e0s suas terras.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1829\" height=\"2560\" src=\"https:\/\/treesistance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Chief-Dada-Borari-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6364\" style=\"width:513px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/treesistance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Chief-Dada-Borari-scaled.jpg 1829w, https:\/\/treesistance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Chief-Dada-Borari-214x300.jpg 214w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1829px) 100vw, 1829px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>O treinamento, que contou com a presen\u00e7a de mais de 50 participantes, teve como foco a defesa territorial, a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de mapas e o trabalho de campo com telefones celulares e c\u00e2meras GPS. Embora o projeto tenha fracassado, ele serve como um lembrete das tentativas externas de industrializar a Amaz\u00f4nia e das press\u00f5es duradouras sobre os recursos naturais da regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uma frente unida para o futuro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Com o apoio da Treesistance, as comunidades Munduruku Cara Preta e Maytapu est\u00e3o aprimorando sua capacidade de proteger suas terras e sua cultura.
