Dit geeft kans om afbakening en milieubeschermingsdoelen te kunnen bereiken. Daarom zijn de inspanningen van de Inheemse Raad, sterke netwerken en juridische belangenbehartiging zeer belangrijk. De werkzaamheden blijven gericht op het beschermen van het materi\u00eble en immateri\u00eble erfgoed van de Kumaruara.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-75f6019\" data-id=\"75f6019\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-47403df elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"47403df\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Het Kumaruara-gebied, gelegen in het Tapaj\u00f3s-Arapiuns Extractive Reservaat, beslaat 12.274,89 hectare in de regio Beneden-Tapaj\u00f3s in Santar\u00e9m, Par\u00e1. Ongeveer 2000 inheemse bewoners leven hier verdeeld over 8 dorpen. Deze levendige gemeenschap floreert te midden van de Amazone-regenwouden, rivieren en vruchtbare overstromingsvlakten.<\/p><p>De Kumaruara-bevolking zet zich volledig in voor het behoud van hun rijke culturele erfgoed. Denk aan rituelen, handwerk, muziek, ambachtelijke visserij en duurzame landbouwpraktijken.
