TERRITORIAL DEFENCE<\/h3>

It is imperative that there is access to justice for all peoples. Without rule of law and the ability to protect their lands, there is no possibility for communities to prosper. As such, territorial defence is the foundation of everything we do.
\nCo-created with Indigenous leaders over the last decade, our proven model focuses on demarcation & land rights, setting up Indigenous forest forces to protect their territories using GPS technology and developing trusted relationships with the justice system to ensure the necessary action is taken (removal of concessions, arrests, financial accountability etc. This is our flagship initiative, a successfully proven model, this will be featured by the UN as their featured Amazonian case study in the 2026 World Wildlife Crime Report.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Renewable Energy <\/h3>

Even belangrijk is het om onafhankelijk te worden van fossiele brandstoffen. Brandstof is nodig voor alles: verlichting, oplaadapparaten, koelopslag en het overbruggen van de enorme afstanden tussen gemeenschappen. Brandstofkosten stijgen aanzienlijk naarmate je dieper het binnenland intrekt. Dit houdt volksstammen in een vicieuze cirkel van armoede en kwetsbaar voor uitbuiting.

\n\n\nMonthly energy costs are sizeable and rising, leaving communities living month to month and unable to save for alternative solutions. We aim to break this cycle, by forming the 'TreeGreen' renewable energy fund in which, we will be able to replace existing petrol \/ diesel generators with renewable energy systems, provide technical training to individuals within the community. And with the savings, communities can make repayments into a \u2018revolving fund\u2019, which will support other communities and ongoing development needs, meaning impact will continue far beyond the initial investment.

Communications & TECHNOLOGY<\/h3>

Communications and technology are essential with regard to forest crime prevention and well as health, education, trade and more. The remote location of many communities puts them in danger from those wishing to extract and exploit.

\nStarting with Forest Crime prevention, communications and technology are essential to relay gps coordinates with federal police in real time, so illegal operators can be removed \/ arrested. Furthermore, internet access in local schools will enable better education and the ability for youth members to stay in their community rather than leave for the city (which is costly, takes them away from their culture and can open them to negative outside influences) .
\nSome examples of our work include; implementing a new communication model which uses HF Radio. There system provides secure \/ encrypted communication and the ability to send audio, text, and visual materials throughout a wide regional network. Another example, is our collaboration with Hack the Planet, bringing the worlds first instant notification AI camera traps to the Amazon, to help territories monitor key access points in real time.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sustainable livelihoods <\/h3>

Er wordt veel gezegd over de noodzaak van milieubewustzijn in het Westen, maar de realiteit is dat onze toekomst afhangt van de mensen in het Zuiden. We kunnen niet van mensen in armoede verwachten dat ze de natuur en het ecosysteem waarvan onze planeet afhankelijk is, blijven beschermen, zonder enige kans op een betere toekomst.

\nWe moeten volksstammen dus uit de armoede helpen. Daarom zijn communicatie en de transitie naar hernieuwbare energie essenti\u00eble onderdelen van ons model. En terwijl inheemse gemeenschappen zich inzetten voor de bescherming van hun land en natuur, moeten we nadenken over de impact en implementatie ervan over meerdere generaties. Dit betekent dat we een omgeving moeten cre\u00ebren, waarin de natuurbeschermers worden betaald voor hun werk om hun grondgebied te beschermen. Dit kan met biodiversiteitskredieten of via duurzame economische ontwikkelingsmodellen. Denk aan financiering v\u00f3\u00f3r de oogst, ecotoerisme, ambachtelijk handwerk, enzovoort. Elke volksstam heeft andere culturen, vaardigheden en uitdagingen, dus de aanpak voor elke gemeenschap is op maat gemaakt en wordt in overleg met hen uitgevoerd.

\nOf we nu communiceren met de internationale gemeenschap of met de mensen ter plaatse, we moeten mensen ervan verzekeren dat het bos meer waard is om te behouden dan om te kappen.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
