Fue creado en colaboraci\u00f3n con universidades y ONG brasile\u00f1as para identificar y reducir el da\u00f1o social y ambiental, incluido el crimen. La estrategia de desarrollo se centr\u00f3 en el acceso a la justicia y la mejora del estado de derecho.<\/p>\n<p>En 2014, las primeras comunidades tradicionales que viven cerca de puntos cr\u00edticos de deforestaci\u00f3n fueron equipadas con c\u00e1maras GPS impermeables, cargadores solares y bater\u00edas externas. Esto les permiti\u00f3 tomar fotograf\u00edas de actividades forestales ilegales. En 2016, un equipo de vigilancia de doce miembros del Territorio recopil\u00f3 evidencia GPS de actividades ilegales dentro de su territorio, lo que llev\u00f3 a la eliminaci\u00f3n de todas las industrias extractivas ilegales. Este modelo se puede replicar en otras \u00e1reas, especialmente en \u00e1reas ind\u00edgenas y otras \u00e1reas protegidas con fronteras GPS.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1a24e55 elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1a24e55\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Forest Forces crime prevention strategies and model was born during a scientific green criminology project in Brazil (2010-2016), funded by the Dutch NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development Program. It was set up in collaboration with Brazilian universities and NGOs to identify and reduce social and environmental harm, including crime. Cuando se presentaron fotograf\u00edas de actividades forestales ilegales con referencia GPS a la Agencia de Inspecci\u00f3n Ambiental (IBAMA), ese mismo d\u00eda se envi\u00f3 un helic\u00f3ptero al lugar de las actividades ilegales. Como resultado de las pruebas registradas, se cancelaron ocho concesiones madereras y las empresas madereras fueron expulsadas del territorio ind\u00edgena. El proyecto piloto demostr\u00f3 que la protecci\u00f3n de los bosques locales, incluso en \u00e1reas remotas sin electricidad ni redes telef\u00f3nicas, puede ser llevada a cabo por comunidades El Jefe Dad\u00e1 y su equipo les brindan capacitaci\u00f3n (capacitaci\u00f3n ind\u00edgena entre pares) en el uso del equipo t\u00e9cnico, t\u00e9cnicas de desescalamiento\/confrontaci\u00f3n segura y seguridad. La cantidad de gente aqu\u00ed es vital, ya que deben superar en n\u00famero a los que invaden ilegalmente. Una persona tomar\u00e1 fotograf\u00edas con la c\u00e1mara GPS para tomar evidencia de actividades ilegales, la ubicaci\u00f3n (el GPS proporciona coordinadores exactos para la polic\u00eda federal), mientras que los otros miembros est\u00e1n dispersos y documentan el intercambio con c\u00e1maras m\u00f3viles por seguridad.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El \u00e9nfasis aqu\u00ed es la protecci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la prevenci\u00f3n.
